Six of these lines actually use 보여주다, 'show someone', with -고 giving the accompanying act — mounting a camera, hiding it somewhere first, holding the food up. The bare 보이다 is different: it means something is visible of its own accord, as in 도로를 사이에 두고 보이는 해변 (the beach visible across the road). Keep the pair straight: 보이다 is 'is seen', 보여주다 is 'shows to someone'.
