add it and stir-fry

In the cooking lines this is literal: cut it up and stir-fry, put the sauce in and stir-fry, add the nuts and stir-fry and then kill the heat, push the rice to one side and fry it for you. But half of the examples are the set phrase 지지고 볶다, frying and stir-frying, which describes people living through a noisy back-and-forth together, squabbling and muddling along. 볶다 is stir-frying in a little oil, as against 튀기다, deep-frying.
