고 찾아보다

go and look it up

"-고" chains a prompt to 찾아보다, "look into, look up". The commonest shape is curiosity leading to a search: I got curious about the haenyeo and looked them up, I saw this idea and went and looked, I search for it, you can have a look for anything worth buying near you. Two lines are the fixed idiom 눈 씻고 찾아보다, "look with your eyes washed" — meaning even searching high and low you won't find it.
