The shape worth learning here is ~ 가지고 되다, "get by on just that": 실력만 가지고 되는 쪽이 아니잖아요 "it's not a field where skill alone gets you there", 이거 가지고 되겠어? "you think this is going to do?". Four lines use it, and two of those are rhetorical questions ending in 되겠냐 or 되겠어, where the speaker means it plainly will not do. 되다 on its own is the all-purpose "work out, be OK, do the job".
