고 가다

do it and go; take along

The subject does the first action and then departs, or carries something off with them: take the clothes to the laundry, take her home, click the link before you go, wear it out. With verbs for riding it gives the means of travel — go by bus, take the subway. Its counterpart is 고 오다, where the person does the thing and arrives here rather than leaving.
