고 가져가다

do X and take it

-고 chains an action to 가져가다, 'take something away'. Some lines are literal — 제가 무조건 만들고 가져가겠습니다 'I'll definitely make it and bring it', 리필해가지고 가져가면 'refill it and take it home'. Others are figurative, walking away with a gain: 그냥 이득 보고 가져갈게 'I'll just take my profit and go', 원래의 내 모습도 놓치지 않고 가져가야 'I have to hold on to who I really am too'.
