고 기다리다

long-awaited; wait and wait

Five of these eight lines are the doubled 기다리고 기다리다, which is not two waits but one long one — the caption writer's way of saying 'long-awaited': [그토록 기다리고 기다리던 이 시간...], 기다리고 기다리시던 게 나왔습니다 'the thing you've all been waiting for is here.' Used plainly, the first verb is what you do before or instead of waiting: 내일까지 절대 켜지 말고 기다려요 'don't switch it on until tomorrow, just wait.'
