고 이러다

Tacks a vague 'and carry on that way' onto a verb, so the listener fills in the rest instead of hearing a list. 아침부터 막 매운 거 먹고 이러면 저도 배가 아프거든요 is 'if I eat spicy food first thing and all that, my stomach hurts too.' Most lines here are the 이러면 form, setting up a loose condition; 이러고 있다 instead describes people being in the middle of some situation, as in 왜 집에 안 가고 이러고 있는지. This is talk, not writing.
