-지만 is 'but', and with 하다 after it you get the everyday shape for agreeing to try something despite a reservation: 뭘 노력해야 될지 모르겠지만 해 볼게요 'I don't know what I should be working at, but I'll try', 싫지만 해나가는 분들 'people who push on with it even though they hate it'. One trap: 하지만 written as one word is the sentence-opening 'However'. Several lines here contain 하지만 only because the verb before -지만 happens to be 하다 (귀찮아 보이긴 하지만 'it does look like a hassle, but…').
