ㄹ 바 없다

no different; nothing to be done

바 is an abstract way or point, and 없다 says there is none of it. By far the commonest fixed phrase in these lines is 다를 바 없다, meaning no different from, may as well be the same thing: no different from rotten cabbage, from an ordinary product, from twenty years ago, from an outside enemy. Two other set phrases also appear, one for nothing you can do about it and one for nowhere to go in either direction.
