ㄹ 데 없다

nowhere to go; utterly useless

-(으)ㄹ 데 없다 says there is no place or no room for the thing. 갈 데 없다 is having nowhere to go (너 갈 데 없어서 온 거잖아, you only came because you had nowhere else), and 오갈 데 없다 is having nowhere to go or return to. Two fixed phrases grow out of it: 쓸데없다, literally 'no place to use it', meaning useless or pointless, and 나무랄 데 없다, meaning faultless — nothing about it to criticise.
