면 바꾸다

-(으)면 gives the trigger for a change: 마음에 안 들면 바꾸라고 하는데 (if you don't like it, they tell you to change it), 틀리면 바꿀 수도 있고 (you can swap if you get it wrong), 한 번 더 깨지면 바꿔야지 (if it breaks once more I'll replace it). 바꿔 주다 is doing the swap for someone else — 힘들면 바꿔 줄까? offers to take over.
