면 화내다

gets angry if you say it

A condition with -(으)면 plus 화내다 "get angry at someone." In these lines the trigger is almost always something said rather than something done: 내가 말하면 화내, 유머로 얘기하면 화내, 가라고 얘기하면 화내잖아요, 여러분들의 모교를 줄이라 그러면 화내잖아. Used this way it works as a warning about what not to bring up (그래서 우리나라는 이거는 또 말씀드리면 화내겠지만). 화나다 is anger rising in you; 화내다 is directing it at somebody.
