A condition plus 좋아하다 predicts how someone will react to a gift or a gesture: 쟤는 그냥 카디건 같은 거 사 주면 좋아할 거야, 이거 꽃 사주면 좋아할 것 같은데?, 한마디라도 이렇게 인사하면 좋아하시죠. Note that 좋아하다 here means "be pleased," not "like something." Watch out for lines that only look like the pattern: 좋아하는 팀, 아니면 좋아하는 노래가 있으신가요? contains 아니면 "or," not a condition.
