dance while doing something else

-(으)면서 puts another action alongside the dancing: dancing while crying, while singing a line, while messing about. Most lines pair it with a vague 하면서 or 이러면서 'doing this', describing the whole scene rather than a technique. Note one outlier — in 살면서 춤춰본 적 없어요, 살면서 is the idiom 'in my whole life', not 'while living'.
