면서 오다

Says what you were doing during the journey: 보면서 왔어요 "I watched it on the way here", 이렇게 자면서 왔어 "I slept the whole way", 그 얘기를 하면서 왔구나 "so that's what we were talking about on the way". -면서 requires the two things to overlap in time, so it always means during the trip itself, never before it. Most of these lines are guests describing how they spent the ride in.
