Names the attitude or activity you carry through life: 감사하면서 살다 "live feeling grateful", 만족하면서 살다 "live content", 쫓기면서 살다 "live feeling chased". Gratitude and contentment account for four of these eight lines, which fits the register — reflective interview talk about how one is doing overall. The two actions have to overlap in time; for one thing after another you would use -고 살다.
