는데 맞다

I heard ~; is that right?

-는데 states what you believe or have heard, and 맞다 asks whether it is correct: 2009년으로 알고 있는데 맞나요? (I understand it was 2009 — is that right?), 스키즈 오빠들 엄청 팬이라고 들었는데 맞아요?. It is the polite way to check a fact you have already half-committed to, and the answer comes straight back as 맞습니다, which two of these lines show.
