는데 웃기다

no reason, but it's funny

A verb clause with -는데 ("even though, and yet") followed by 웃기다 says the laugh is not justified by anything that happened: [별 거 안했는데 웃겨 죽는 권 사장], [왜 웃긴지 모르겠는데 웃김], 약간 의도하지 않았는데 웃긴 사람. It also pairs an unwelcome feeling with the laugh — [열받는데 웃긴 심드렁 대답], infuriating and funny at once. Most of these lines are bracketed on-screen captions rather than speech. The version with an adjective in front works the same way.
