ㄴ가 갖다

have something; about (a quantity)

Two different things sit behind this shape. Most lines have 뭔가 'something' or 누군가 'someone' before 갖다 'have, hold': 이게 내가 뭔가 갖고 있고, 내 것도 누군가 갖고 있어. In the others, -인가 sits after a number and softens it to an estimate — 3L인가 갖다줘 'they bring you about three litres', 20척인가 갖고 있더라고요 'they had something like twenty ships'. 갖다 is the everyday contraction of 가지다.
