look at how X it is

Half of these lines are an exclamation: you point at a visible state and tell someone to look at it, as in look how shiny it is, look how red his face went, look at all that mushroom and cheese in there. The other use is inference, where looking at the evidence lets you conclude something, as in judging by the buzz cut it must be a man. Same words, and the ending decides which one you are hearing.
