Puts a question word inside the sentence and then checks the answer: 몇 번인지 봐야 돼 "we need to see which number it is", 들어가서 뭔지 봐볼까요? "shall we go in and see what it is?". 어떤지 보다 — "see how it is", "see what you make of it" — appears three times, and it is what a host says while handing you something to try: 이거 드셔보시고 어떤지 보세요. Use -는지 for actions in progress and -ㄴ지/-은지 for states.
