라도 되다

-(이)라도 concedes a lesser option and 되다 is 'become / serve as'. The commonest use here is offering a small benefit: 도움이 조금이라도 되었으면 (if it helped even a little), 비슷하게라도 될 수 있지 않을까? (maybe I could become at least somewhat like them). Two lines show the set sneer 뭐라도 된 양 / 뭐라도 된 것처럼 — behaving as if one had become somebody important.
