-(이)라도 marks a fallback or a minimum: 뭐라도 먹읍시다 'let's eat something, anything', 이거라도 먹을까? 'shall we at least have this?', 꼭 한잔이라도 먹어야 풀리는 긴장 'a tension that only eased with at least one drink'. It quietly admits this isn't the ideal option but will do. Note that casual Korean uses 먹다 for drinking as well as eating.
