라고 밝히다

밝히다 is 'bring to light' — putting something on the record. In news writing it is the standard verb for an official statement: 자세히 발표할 예정이라고 밝혔습니다 'they stated that details will be announced'. In entertainment captions it marks someone disclosing a personal fact: ISFJ라고 밝힌 정민 'Jeongmin, who revealed he's an ISFJ', 어린 시절 꿈이 만화가라고 밝힌 동휘 'Donghwi, who revealed his childhood dream was to be a cartoonist'. Every line here is a report or a caption, not conversation.
