bring it calling it X

Something is brought along and labelled as a certain thing by the person bringing it. Half of these lines are scornful about the label: you cannot bring me this and call it an answer, they brought this and called it a sign of hope, you call this a peace plan and bring it here. The other half are neutral, someone bringing something along in order to ask a favour, or handing over something presented as a gift.
