Means 'only', and the verb after it has to be negative: 5분밖에 안 걸려요 'it only takes five minutes', 너밖에 없어 'there's no one but you'. 만 also means 'only' but takes a positive verb and stays neutral; 밖에 adds the feeling that the amount is disappointingly small or that this is the sole option left. 수밖에 없다 is a set phrase meaning 'there's no choice but to…', as in 설렐 수밖에 없지 'we can't help being excited'.
