The most formal command form

The most formal command there is. It belongs to announcements, service staff and the military, and to a handful of set phrases you will hear constantly — 'have a good day, sir' to someone at work, 'have a lovely day' as a parting line. It is respectful and slightly ceremonial rather than cold, which is why one line uses it to beg a ship's captain for help. 세요 is the everyday polite command; this is a level above it.
