Humble archaic petition, 'be pleased to…'
-시옵소서 / -주옵소서 is the most self-lowering way to ask for something, aimed at a god or a king: 그 속에 함께 웃게 하여주시옵소서 'grant that he may laugh along with everyone.' It survives in prayers and old poetry, and on variety shows it becomes a joke aimed at a senior — 선배 원샷 하시옵소서 'my lord, pray down it in one.' Nobody uses it as an ordinary request.
