여기다 — onto here, there, where

A further shortening of 에다가, glued onto 여기, 거기, 저기 and 어디 to mark where something is put or done: put this here, throw it there, what they're spending all that money on, where I left that card. Plain 여기에 just says 'here', while 여기다 says 'onto here', with an action landing on that spot. It exists only in speech — in writing use 여기에다가.
