Stretched-out exclamation ending

The plain sentence ending 다 held long and written with an extra vowel, which turns a flat statement into a delighted or dismayed cry: this is so good; that would be fun; it is Tzuyang. It is not a separate grammar point, just a spelling that shows the drawn-out delivery, and captions use it constantly for enthusiasm. The English equivalent is stretching a word across extra letters.
