'I'm telling you' — casual restating

-다구요 is the chatty spelling of -다고요, saying something again with feeling, usually because the speaker feels unheard: 이런 분위기가 너무 좋다구요 'I'm telling you, I love this whole vibe.' With a question mark it flips and checks what you just said instead — 조개 잡으셨다구요? 'you caught clams?' The 요 keeps it polite; the 구 spelling keeps it informal.
