'I can't believe…!' polite shock

-다니요 reacts to what was just said or just done with surprise, delight or protest: 이렇게 잔디가 푹신하다니요 'I can't believe the grass is this soft.' It can also push back on someone else's words — 사람 몸 가지고 재미없다니요! 'how can you say a human body is boring!' The 요 keeps it polite, so it works with guests and strangers as well as friends.
