Saying that (nonstandard)

It quotes a statement before a verb of saying or thinking: worries saying it would take even longer, saying I cannot go on like this, having answered that it was humiliating. Careful Korean writes 다고 here, and the extra syllable is spoken padding that editors delete, though you will hear it constantly in interviews. The matching modifier form is 다라는.
