더니만

'…and then, of all things'

-더니만 ties what someone did earlier to what happened next, usually with a twist the speaker did not appreciate: 절대로 안 먹을 거처럼 하더니만 이제 와서... 'he acted like he'd never touch it, and now look.' It also works for a discovery — 어디서 많이 봤다 했더니만 그쪽이구나 'I kept thinking I'd seen you somewhere, and there you are.' It is the everyday -더니 with an extra 만 that adds a grumbling edge, and all these lines are casual speech.
