This is the observation-reporting 더라고 said and written with a 구, which sounds softer and chattier: no wonder it tasted so good, I wanted to hear him too, I woke up and I was aching. Several of these lines add 요 for the polite 더라구요. Like the standard form, it reports something you noticed yourself, so it does not fit your own deliberate actions.
