더라는

'…is what I found' wrapped into a noun

-더라는 packages something the speaker personally witnessed and hands it over as the content of a story or a point: 다 제 역할이 있더라는 이야기였고요 'the point was that everyone has a role.' In every line here it is immediately followed by a word like 이야기, 거, 겁니다 or 거죠. The -더- inside is what marks the observation as firsthand rather than hearsay.
