Just like, the same way as

Attaches to a verb to say something is done the same way as that: reading it the way you read today's Bible verse, asking questions the way customs does, fitting the way a pickle fits in a burger. Its single most common use here is looking back at something already said — 'like I said before', 'like you said' — which two of these lines do. 처럼 does the same comparing work but hangs off a noun; 듯이 needs a verb in front of it.
