Polite 'I'll do it' promise

Commits you to doing something, politely, and always with the listener in mind: I'll leave all the Google Maps links, I won't get into the dialect stuff today, I'll keep an eye on it. It is not a neutral prediction — it is a small promise being made to whoever you are talking to. Compare 을래요, which says what you feel like doing, and 겠어요, which is a plain statement of intent. Drop the 요 for the casual 을게.
