Whether — a question left hanging

Ends a line on an open question that nobody answers: will the other sauces be as good, who will be chosen as the final members, can Jae Seok pull it off, can Sumin guess today's answer. That is the teaser voice of variety captions and trailers, and most of these lines are exactly that. Inside a sentence it does the ordinary job of 'whether' or 'how' — working out how to make things easier to understand. Followed by 도 모르다 it means 'might', as in the line about already being dead.
