Also spelled uranun

That someone told you to do

It takes an order somebody gave and hangs it on a noun: the place they tell you to sit, the thing they are telling you to eat. In these lines it nearly always lands on 거, 게 or 말 and is used to check or challenge an instruction, sometimes indignantly, as with the line asking whether they really want him to take them off right here. The close neighbour is 으라고, which ends the sentence with the same quoted order instead of attaching it to a noun.
