'Oh, so...' quoting your own thought

Marks a realisation and then quotes it back as a thought you had. Six of these eight lines follow it with a verb of thinking or feeling: I thought I'd have been like that in the booth, ah, life is worth living, I've learned that it's no use anyway. So the pattern is realisation plus 구나 plus 하다 or 싶다, meaning 'it struck me that...'. Said out loud to another person with nothing after it, the same ending is the ordinary 구나 or 는구나 of dawning realisation.
