Puts a decision to the other person: should I just cook instead, should we go somewhere they speak Korean, should we start with the pros. Repeated across two options it becomes a straight choice — long nails or short, inside or outside, is it this spelling or that one. Compare ㄹ래요, which asks what the listener wants; ㄹ까요 asks them to decide with you.
