every, each, without exception

Attaches to a noun to mean every one of them, with the emphasis on there being no exceptions: 각 지역마다 "every single region", 날마다 "every day", 보는 거마다 "every single thing he sees". With a time word it slides into whenever, especially in the very common 때마다 (시간이 있을 때마다 "whenever I have time"). Speakers often pair it with 매 or 매일 for extra force (매일 아침마다), which is redundant but completely normal in speech.
