Describer ending, after a vowel

Attaches to a verb or a describing word so it can modify the noun right after it. On a describing word it is plain description — "a big park", "a famous mountain", "a really special time". On an action verb it means the action is already finished — "the friend who came from Australia". Compare 는, which does the same job for an action happening now, and ㄹ, for one that has not happened yet. After a stem ending in a consonant, the same ending appears as 은.
