ㄴ다면

if you were to do it

Sets up a hypothetical action — supposing you do this, imagining you did this: 2박 3일 간다면 "if you were to go for three days", 비교를 해본다면 "if we were to compare them", 원하신다면 "if that's what you want". It leans more imagined than 으면, the ordinary if, which is used for things that plainly may happen; ㄴ다면 invites the listener to entertain a scenario. It attaches to verb stems ending in a vowel, with 는다면 after a consonant, and often follows a polite 시 (하신다면).
