Marks a realisation the speaker is having right now, so it lands as oh, huh, or wow rather than as flat information: 성격 좋으시네 "oh, you've got a great personality", 카드까지 준비했네 "you even brought the cards", 맞네 "oh, you're right". It implies the speaker only just noticed, which is why saying it about something obvious sounds sarcastic. Add 요 to be polite (좋네요). Do not confuse it with the separate word 네 meaning yes, which is written the same.
