Also spelled nunda

Plain statement form of action verbs

The bare dictionary-style statement form, carrying no politeness towards a listener at all. It does two jobs in these lines: neutral written statement, which is why it fills on-screen captions and a general truth like 'walking on water', and an excited announcement of what you are about to do — 'Time to pour in the tteok!', 'I'm going with extra, extra hot'. Said to someone's face it would be blunt; said to yourself or to a camera it reads as narration.

Register: plain, written or self-narration
