느냐고

Reporting a question someone asked

-느냐고 quotes a question rather than a statement: 주머니 손 왜 넣느냐고 'they asked why I had my hand in my pocket', 안드로이드폰을 사용하겠느냐고 물었을 때 'when they were asked whether they'd use an Android.' Half the lines here use its close relative -느냐면, where the speaker raises a question in order to answer it themselves — 왜 그러느냐면 'and why is that? because...'
