네요

Polite 'oh, it turns out...'

Reacts politely to something you have only just noticed or worked out: we've been eating this whole time, time's up, he's actually my senior, come to think of it. In these lines the sentence often keeps going afterwards, with the speaker tacking on what prompted the reaction. 군요 also registers new information but as a piece of understanding clicking into place; 네요 is closer to a spontaneous impression.
